Terms and Conditions: Before and After Slider
1. Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Before and After Slider app ("the app")
provided by Sawbill Apps ("we", "us"). By installing or using the app you agree to
them. If you do not agree, please uninstall the app.
2. What the app does
The app adds a widget to your website that displays two images with a draggable
divider, so visitors can compare a "before" state with an "after" state. It runs
entirely in the visitor's browser.
3. Licence
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app
on websites you own or manage, for as long as these terms are observed. You may
not copy, resell, sublicense, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app or its
code.
4. Your content
You are solely responsible for the images, text, links, and other content you
display through the widget, including holding all necessary rights and
permissions to use them. You agree not to use the app to display content that is
unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful.
We do not host, review, moderate, or store your images. The widget loads them
from the addresses you supply.
5. Availability and changes
We aim to keep the app working reliably and may update it to add features, fix
problems, or maintain compatibility with the Wix platform. We may modify or
discontinue the app, in whole or in part, at any time. Where a change would
materially reduce functionality you rely on, we will make reasonable efforts to
give notice.
6. Pricing
The app is currently offered free of charge. If paid plans are introduced in
future, any paid features will be clearly identified before purchase, existing
functionality you already use will not be removed without notice, and all
billing will be handled by Wix under Wix's terms. Nothing in these terms
obligates you to purchase anything.
7. Support
Support requests can be sent to support@sawbillapps.com. We aim to respond within two
business days. Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and does not
constitute a guaranteed service level.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind,
whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability,
fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that
the app will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with every website
configuration, browser, or device.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sawbill Apps shall not be liable for any
indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any
loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or related
to your use of or inability to use the app, whether based in contract, tort, or
any other legal theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out
of or relating to the app shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us
for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim, or twenty five US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties
or liabilities, so parts of sections 8 and 9 may not apply to you.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sawbill Apps from any claim, demand, loss,
or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your content, your use
of the app, or your breach of these terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by removing it from your site. We may
suspend or terminate your licence if these terms are breached. Sections 4, 8, 9,
and 10 survive termination.
12. Relationship to Wix
The app is distributed through the Wix App Market. Your use of Wix itself is
governed by Wix's own terms and policies, which are separate from these terms.
We are an independent developer and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or
acting on behalf of Wix.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States,
without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above will
change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes
acceptance of the revised terms.
